1 - Illinois Treehouse

This adorable backyard Treehouse was built in Franklin, Illinois in 2024.

The 1-Illinois is an 8’ x 8’ treehouse on a 16’ x 8’ platform. It has a high one pitch asphalt roof, 3’ x 8’ internal loft, stained T1-11 siding, wooden baluster railings, rock climb, bucket lift, and 30’ rope bridge across a small creek.

Tree Top Builders delivers a bespoke, technology-driven design process to our clients, no matter the budget.

Every treehouse begins with a conversation, a sketch, a picture, a story, or something you provide that helps us feel your vision and understand your goals for the project. It is best to visit your project site, create a tree layout, and explore design options in a meeting with you. At your location, we will help you evaluate trees & share ideas for building the tree house.

We use a 3D scan of your site to generate a full 3D rendered design. This bespoke process is deployed on every project, no matter the scale of the build.

We are then able to work with you to iterate, and ensure every detail is absolutely perfect.

Once the design is approved, we move on to considerations of Engineering & Building Permits.
