Workshop Basics
The treehouse building workshop will cover the basics of arboriculture, engineering, and tricks of the trade. We will also be adding to the adventure at Treehouse World by building new and exciting tree house structures. So, pull up a log or join us on a limb, whether you want to learn how to build a safe and tree-friendly backyard perch or stay current with the best practices in treehouse building today.
Agenda of the 2021 Treehouse Building Workshop
Our workshop focuses on several aspects to help you build your treehouse more comfortably. To begin, our team of Treehouse Experts from Treehouse Supplies and Tree Top Builders lead the more formal instructional sessions. These interactive sessions help make building theories practical so that we can apply them later.
Each treehouse building workshop will feature construction or partial construction of at least one treehouse, tree house platform, or other tree-attached feature. We will teach proper installation of treehouse attachment bolts (TABs) and other treehouse hardware. As time and schedule allow, we will cover other accessories and features, such as ziplines, swings, and bridges.
We also like to build in 1-on-1 time to help you with your upcoming projects. We review your plans for your treehouse or help you start making them, so bring pictures, measurements of your tree(s), and sketches to help us help you get your project off the ground.
Meals are provided on-site, so you can stick around and expand your knowledge and network.
